Even if your family doesn’t get into the whole dance party idea, the act of playing music really can help motivate your family while cleaning. You could make picking out the music a prize or take turns per week or per spring-clean. Mom and Dad: do not forget to take your turns picking out some music too!

Involving games could be another away to get your family more involved in cleaning. You could make recycling into a game by setting up homemade or store bought mini hoops over the trash bags to help your kids remember to recycle. With this tip, try to keep this specific recycling game outside due to the certain messes it makes if someone might miss a shot.

When you get your family “in shape,” your family learns how too communicate more efficiently as well as spending more time together. Why not make family cleaning into a whole day by rewarding all the helpers with pizza, a movie, or even something really special like a theme park or a beach trip once the cleaning is complete.
